Your first login

The first time you sign in, the portal asks you to finish a short setup. It takes about two minutes and you can skip it with Later and come back any time. After that you land on your home screen.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Step 1 of 3 is Profile and preferences. Type your name and, if you like, your birthday (month and day only, we send you something on the day). Then pick your spirit animal: type any animal and select Find it, select Use my initial, or select I'm not sure for a three-question quiz. The quiz ends with That's me. Pick a metal finish and a theme (dark is the default). Select Continue.

  2. Step 2 of 3 is Company setup. Your company name and website are already filled in from our records. Your WILDCARD team keeps these up to date. Select Continue.

  3. Step 3 of 3 is Billing setup. For now your invoices come by email, so there is nothing to type here. Select Finish. The portal says You are all set.

Your home screen

  • The one thing. One line at the top that tells you the single most useful next move. It changes as your cover changes.
  • Your grade. A letter from A to F, built from the six core cards: Domain Security, Email Security, Unified Backups, Workstation Defender, Identity Monitor and Patch Management. Every one you hold moves it up.
  • Four suits. Security (the cards we run for you), People (your team, and how to get help), Finance (coming soon) and Roadmap (cards you do not hold yet). Tap one to open it.
  • Your team. One character for every card you hold. Tap a character for its numbers, like when it went active and what it last checked.
  • Your next move. The card we suggest next, with two buttons: GUIDE ME to do it yourself and ACTIVATE to have us do it. See Activate a card.

Settings

Open Settings from the menu. It has three parts: Company (name, website, you), Connections (Microsoft or Google, and your computers) and Billing and credits (your credit balance, a Buy credits button, and a note that invoices come by email for now). To change your spirit animal or finish later, open your profile and edit it there.
