PAM

Privileged Access Management

Tighter control over the accounts that can change everything, such as administrators.

Like locking the master keys in a safe that only opens with a sign-out sheet, so each use is recorded.

How it works

  • Admin accounts are separate from daily accounts.
  • Access to them is granted for a short time and for a reason.
  • Every action is logged.
  • Credentials are kept in a vault instead of on sticky notes.

What can go wrong (example scenario)

A five-person firm used the owner's admin account to read email and browse the web. A single phishing click handed the attacker full control of the whole tenant.

How WILDCARD handles it

Cloud covers who holds admin roles in your workspace. Password Manager vaults the admin credentials, and Identity Monitor watches every login and session.

  • An owner uses a normal account every day and an admin account only to make changes.
  • A firm limits who can approve new users.
  • A shop keeps the main admin password in a vault with a second sign-in step.

A question owners ask

Should I use my admin account for daily work?

No. Use a regular account every day and keep the admin one for changes only.

Something here sounds like your problem?

Every WILDCARD card exists to solve one named problem. Find yours.
