AES

Advanced Encryption Standard

The standard method used worldwide to scramble data so only someone with the key can read it.

Like a lock design so well tested that every bank and government trusts it.

How it works

  • It scrambles files, drives and connections.
  • Used inside Wi-Fi, VPNs, phones and cloud storage.
  • Strength depends on the key length and keeping the key safe.
  • No practical way of cracking it is known.

How WILDCARD handles it

Cloud covers the Microsoft 365 or Google settings that protect your data.

  • A phone's storage is scrambled with it.
  • A VPN uses it to protect traffic.
  • A cloud provider says data is encrypted at rest with it.

A question owners ask

When someone says data is AES encrypted, is that good?

Yes, as long as the keys are managed well and the password is strong.

Something here sounds like your problem?

Every WILDCARD card exists to solve one named problem. Find yours.
