Indicators of Compromise

A clue left behind by an attack, such as a strange file, a bad web address or an odd login, that shows you were hit.

Like muddy footprints leading to the back door.

How it works

  • Examples include file names, web addresses and login patterns.
  • Security tools match activity against shared lists.
  • Finding one prompts a closer look.
  • Lists change as attackers change tactics.

How WILDCARD handles it

Workstation Defender and Identity Monitor look for signs of compromise on devices and logins.

  • A tool reports a login from a country with no staff.
  • A scan finds a known bad file.
  • A provider shares a list of web addresses to block.

A question owners ask

Do I need to look for these myself?

No. Your security tools do, and you act on what they report.

Something here sounds like your problem?

Every WILDCARD card exists to solve one named problem. Find yours.
